The Mooresville/Lake Norman office, located in the Mooresville Town Square shopping center, serves historic Mooresville and the beautiful shores of Lake Norman. The town of Mooresville is nestled against beautiful Lake Norman, a 34-mile-long manmade lake offering 520 miles of shoreline. Located 30 miles north of Charlotte and Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Mooresville is a blend of tradition and new growth.
The Mooresville Historic District includes a downtown commercial district with a town hall, a citizens’ center and historic landmarks, such as the D.E. Turner Hardware store, which dates back to 1899. Shopping of all kinds is available. Amenities include hotels, restaurants, wine bars and nationally recognized golf courses and golf communities.
The lakeside part of town offers miles of waterfront and homes with water access. You’ll find boat rentals, fishing and jet skiing. Jetton Park and Lake Norman State Park provide outdoor recreation.
Nicknamed “Race City USA,” Mooresville is home to dozens of NASCAR drivers and their racing teams, plus suppliers and others involved in the motorsports industry. The Memory Lane Motorsports and Historical Automotive Museum and the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame are located here. The Hall of Fame serves as the town’s official visitors’ center, where winning race cars are on display.
